• Statutory audit of several telecommunications companies operating on the African continent.
  
  
• Assisted a telecommunications company in West Africa with a complete review of its financial, organisational, operational, technical and legal structure. Recommendations were made for improvements in business processes and management information systems. We identified cost cutting strategies and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  
  
• Advisory services to a Government body in the context of the privatisation of a state-owned telecommunications company. We conducted a due diligence exercise and also helped to ascertain whether there had been any new happenings which could have had an impact as described in the sale/purchase agreement on the transaction itself or the transaction price. We also assisted the Government body in the closing of negotiations with the acquirers.
  
  
• Appointed as Advisor to the Government of a country situated in the Indian Ocean on the disposal of 40% of shares in a national telecommunications company to a strategic investor.
